We are seeking a dependable Accounting person to join the US headquarters in City of Industry.COST ACCOUNTANT (Ref-CA)RESEARCH, compile, analyze and interpret data in costing and gross margin and prepare reports for accounting managementPrepare, analyze and report weekly, monthly & quarterly gross margin analysis by brand by customer typeAnalyze cost accounting data and assist with cycle count/physical inventoriesPrepare detailed account analysis and reconcile sales, cost and inventory, liability accounts by customer type by divisionReview and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research and perform analytical studies in regards to cost analysis and profitabilityAssist in month end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary, analyze inventory evaluation, inventory roll forwardCommunicate daily with China accounting team to work on the accounting books and coordinate with China manufacturing department Support and assist internal department reporting requirements such as audit & tax schedules Ensure timely submission, accuracy and validity of inventory, gross margin schedules to managementWe require a Bachelors Degree in Accounting with at least 3 years of related experience, proficient in Microsoft Excel & Office, strong organizational and communication skills. Able to work on details, analyze and reconcile complex accounts and reserves. Knowledge of GAAP & cost accounting standards is required. Knowledge of Power Link systems is preferred. Cosmetic industry background is a plus. Able to work independently under minimal supervision. Bilingual/Chinese is required.
